Property Taxes and Insurance Escrow Plan Foiled!

Right now, I’m still escrowing my property taxes and homeowner’s insurance through my mortgage company.  In Pennsylvania, these bills are all mailed directly to the homeowner and then the homeowner forwards them along to the mortgage company who pays them out of their escrow account.

Sounding similar to the Experian class action lawsuit, Equifax is potentially settling a class-action lawsuit.  If you bought a credit score or service from Equifax.com, MyFico.com or the Suze Orman FICO Kit between November 19, 1999 and February 9, 2007, you qualify.  The settlement?  Three to six months of the ScoreWatch service.
